During a recent discussion on a LinkedIn group that I am part of, one of the members brought up the issue of working remotely and how few companies seem to be accepting of this. And indeed if you look at the jobs advertised for Online Community Managers very few of them offer remote work as an option. What is your take on this. Do you think working remotely hinders or helps the organization looking to hire a community manager? Do you work remotely, what is the experience like for you? Are you looking for positions that allow for remote work and how successful has your search been so far?
