The Role involves:
Editing and coordinating multilingual content to be posted to the Office's various websites including: publication of all web products and Alicante News; Creatively communicate on blog posts, articles, podcasts, videos and screen casts; Definition and introduction of fast changing web applications that facilitate information sharing and collaboration on the World Wide Web. Examples of Web 2.0 include web-based communities, hosted services, web applications, social networking sites, video sharing sites, wikis and blogs etc.
Technical skills required:
Good knowledge of web tools and content management systems such as Zope, Plone and ElevateIT, and of current developments in Internet communication; Strong drafting and communication skills in English; Knowledge of search engine optimisation techniques including basic keyword research, Internet promotion and website monitoring; roficient with Microsoft Office products and understands the social media universe including YouTube, Twitter, Wikis, blogs etc; Project management experience
