Job Purpose



Manage the development and growth of our communities on social networks, blogs and forums ensuring that PokerStars is a leading and active member of all major networks on the internet.



Key Responsibilities



• Co-ordinating social media activities across departments and regions

• Creating and maintaining an engagement plan for all social media sites ensuring KPIs and performance goals are achieved

• Setting-up, customising, optimising, maintaining and updating accounts on social media platforms, blogs and forums

• Developing, engaging and growing communities across all social platforms

• Using the social media platforms to generate buzz and interest in PokerStars on the internet

• Measuring, monitoring and reporting on all social media activity

• Monitoring and managing social media mentions of the brand

• Working with social media manager to teach and mentor other departments on social media

Skills and Capabilities



Essential



• Educated to degree level or equivalent

• Comfortable and experienced in working with large brands

• In-depth knowledge of social media specifically in developing online communities

• Extensive knowledge of social media trends, strategies, platforms, tools and best practices

• Ability to develop and build strong working relationships with internal and third party service providers

• Display a strong customer and brand focused background with commercial awareness and strategic thinking capability

• Track record in innovating and adapting to the constantly changing nature of the internet

• Friendly, articulate and persuasive interpersonal style

• Motivated with a high energy level and strong work ethic

• Ability to work well under pressure and on own initiative

• Willing to work outside of normal office hours

• Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)

• Demonstrate sound judgement and good instincts
